Did you know that since 2019, over 3,000 CarePortal requests have been submitted in Indiana and 82% have been met! In October, we activated Fulton County with DCS, which is our 6th county added this year! State-wide Impact to date at the end of October:
2,381 requests met
5,329 children served
$2,445,478 economic impact
97 active churches
Story of Impact:
A church leader recently made a connection with a mom in Madison County who desires to find stability and community for her children. This church is in the neighborhood of the mother and has an established tutoring program they offer for children in the area. Because CarePortal made this church aware of this family, the 3 elementary school children now have access to community and educational assistance, which the mother is thankful for. Connecting families to churches in their proximity who have resources and opportunities is one of the primary goals of CarePortal!
